While this visa may be obtained in advance through an embassy, it can also be purchased in the airport from local Kenyan officials. If you intend to purchase a visa at the Kenya airport, you will need to have the $50 US payment in cash when you land.

The trip from Kenya international airport skirts the Kenya capital city of Nairobi and takes 6 to 8 hours to get to Bungoma.But you can also take another flight to either Kisumu airport or Eldoret airport where we can pick you from their which is closer to Bungoma..estimated at 1:30min to 2hrs Bungoma is due-west from Kampala on highway that is partially paved and partially dirt.
